Preparatory faculty
In 1991 the City Lyceum was found on the base of USTU. This Lyceum realizes 2 year
preparatory course for the well grounded pupils graduated from the 9th form. Lyceum, Preparatory
Courses and Preparatory Department are parts of the Preparatory Faculty of the University.
Annually more than 1200 pupils take part in the University competitions in different spheres
of knowledge. Our Lyceum cooperates with Moscow State Technical University named after Bauman
during several years according to the program "Step to the future".
There is a special Preparatory Department for foreign students who wish to study Russian
and continue education in Russian Universities. The Preparatory Department courses include the
Russian language, mathematics, physics, engineer graphics and other subjects necessary for admission
and successful education.
Cost of the Preparatory Department courses is USD 750 to 900 per year,
depending on the number of students in a group.
The system of reductions is functioning.
