Nowadays there are 101 post-graduates including 77 of attending form of study and 24 ones of corresponding study. There are 33 specialities for them.
The PhD is a three year full-time (or four year part-time ) degree in research in which the student pursues an approved research programme with the emphasis on both a training in research methodology and making a contribution to the advancement of the research area.
There are 4 Thesis Council working at the University.
During the period of 1993-1998 21 theses for a Doctor's degree and 62 theses for a candidate's degree was defenced by scientific workers and post-graduates, including 16 theses for Doctor's and candidate's degrees in Council of USTU.
